New York Magazine made a cool 1.50 mins video which explains how to survive a sleepless night:

  1. Don’t hit a snooze button
  2. Eat your breakfast within the 1st hour of waking up
  3. No sugar for breakfast. Stick to whole grains and protein, it will make you less sleepy
  4. If you are a coffee drinker, gram A SINGLE cup of coffee
  5. Get outside for some natural light
  6. Once at work, do your toughest tasks first as morning will be the most alert part of the day for you
  7. Get another cup of coffee when you get to work
  8. Have a light lunch consisting of grains, veggies and proteins. Eating carbs will make you even sleepier.
  9. Have another cup of coffee in early afternoon, but don’t drink it after 3pm
